The Essentials for Your Summer Vacay!

It's that time of the year again.
SWEET SWEET SUMMERTIME!

I would like to share what clothes my fabulous readers
should take on their gateways.
I always have the hardest time packing because you don't know what
you will want to wear a week in the future.
I mean, sometimes I am feeling sassy and want to wear a cutsie sundress,
and sometimes I want to becomfortable and wear a pair of capris with a little tank top.
I know I am not alone, and that is why I have come up with the
essentials for your own personal vacation.

If you are going on a cruise

Many people like to hop aboard a beautiful ship, not having to worry about flying, and still get to layout while traveling towards your destination. If this includes you, here is your list to survive on the open sea:
  • A couple of bathing suits, since you will be seeing the same people throughout the time on your ship
  • Cover Up, to walk back to your room
  • Sandals, no vacation is complete without them
  • Huge Sunglasses, these will make you look like a movie star instead of having squinty eyes
  • Sunscreen, you are constantly going to be outside so you don't want to get a sunburn on your first day
  • Watch, when you get to different ports they will tell you what time to be back and you certainly do not want to be left on a tiny island with no way to get home
  • Comfy Shoes, you will be doing a lot of walking around your point of destination and you do not want to get blisters while taking a tour
  • Formal Outfit, they usually have a nice dinner where everyone dresses up so break out your LBD that is getting dusty in the back of your closet

If you are going camping
Many families love to take a break from their urban lifestyles and get their hands dirty in some good old fashioned camping. If you need to keep the bears away, here is your guide:
  • Hiking Boots, no matter where you go you are going to have to dodge some large rocks and ups and downs to get to your camp site
  • Poncho, you never know when mother nature is going to take a turn for the worst
  • Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, duh it's camping
  • Bathing Suit, for swimming in the lake and most likely bathing in the lake
  • Bug Spray, if you have sweet blood like me those bugs will swarm and you don't want to spend your whole vacation itching
  • S'mores, I know this isn't a wardrobe item or absolute need, but nothing is better than heating up marshmallows around a campfire

If you are taking a road trip
If you are hitting the road for a new adventure, make sure you do not forget these items for when you are driving across the nation:
  • A Light Jacket, sometimes it gets a little chilly when you're riding shotgun
  • Comfy Clothes, you will be sitting down for a while so make sure you wear something cute but something you can still kick back and enjoy the ride in
  • Flip Flops, there is nothing worse than having to put back on your tennis shoes when you get out at a rest stop
  • Baseball Cap, for those flyaways and greasy hair days

As long as you have these things, you will be able to enjoy your time off with your family and friends and be able to make memories instead of worrying about what you forgot. Have fun :)

Being my favorite season, I could go on and on
